Meeting Places JOSC events
* JOSC Tuesday meetings: Eastern Promise (EP) on Kemang , located 100m before Kemchicks (when coming from Block M-Passaraya). EP restaurant is located between the Lippo Bank and the carpet shop which is located before the Apothik Melawai. If you look on the other side of the road you will see the ABN-AMRO bank. Meeting start around 8pm.
* Meeting point for boarding boats: The usual meeting place prior to a race is Pantai Mutiara Marina located not far away from the Pluit Mall. (see Map of Pantai Mutiara). People arrive at Pantai Mutiara generally 90 to 60 minutes prior to a race if the start is at the 4 Buoys. If you come by taxi we highly recommend you tell the driver to go to PLUIT MALL and then ask for PANTAI MUTIARA APPARTEMENT . Once in the PANTAI MUTIARA complex ask for the MARINA. (Failing to do so can result in the driver bringing you at Ancol or Tanjung Priok which is no way near the meeting point). If you come sailing we highly recommend you bring sunglasses, drinks (plenty of water or other improved drinks to please the captain) , a hat, sunscreen and food and eventually some motion sickness medications in case you are sensitive. Avoid shoes with dark sole and heels as this could damage or leave marks on the deck of the boat. Of course each skipper of the boat may make his own arrangements so please discuss it with him what he would like you to bring on board as well as the time he expects you to be in the harbor.
